Teckna Group Limited, an ISO9001:2008 company, are a 3rd generation family run company based in the North West with a satelite office in Oxfordshire covering the whole of the UK. We have been established since 1972 starting in the construction sector, growing into our present organisation offering services in the civil engineering, water borehole drilling and geothermal systems.
Our friendly drilling teams install water boreholes and systems along with any aspect of the required part of the water abstraction process for: reports, pump testing, filtration equipment and decommissioning of existing boreholes.
We install across the UK for domestic, commercial & industrial boreholes, homeowners, farmers, golf courses, hotels and just about anybody who requires their own water supply.
Boreholes can range from 100mm to 750mm diemater and with depths in excess of 250m deep and have been installed for some of the UK’s largest and well known corporate bodies enabling them to service their water demands economically.
Whilst our domestic borehole installations usually do not exceed 150mm they are still installed to Teckna Groups ISO:9001 standards along with any required filtration systems and ancillary equipment such as holding tanks, housings, pipe connections and the like. Again these have been installed across the UK for individual owners wanting to be ‘Off Grid’ for their water utilities.
Teckna Group also operate dedicated equipment for the specialist installation of geothermal boreholes for closed loop and open loop systems. We also carry out the ancilliary works to connect the completed boreholes back to the Ground Source Heat Pump installed by the Heating Engineers which includes all required purging, flushing and pressure testing of the boreholes and pipe work before final hand over.
Drilling personnel are trained and certified to NVQ2 Lead Drillers & Drillers Land Drilling, Emergency First Aid and CSCS carded with licenses for telehandlers, excavators and dumpers.
As a corporate member of the Well Drillers Association our ethos is to provide professional, knowledgeable and friendly advice to all our clients maintaining exemplary Safety, Health, Environmental and Training standards and aim to remain as one of the leading companies in the UK with continued membership of the British Drilling Association, ROSPA, GSHPA, British Safety Council and RECC.
